Council service round the clock.

A GROUNDBREAKING open day will show people just how easy it is to access the vital public services they need, its organisers claim.

The Octagon, in Buxton's Pavilion Gardens, will be a hive of activity from 2pm to 7pm on Wednesday, September 21 as High Peak Borough Council turns the spotlight on more than 200 services ranging from arts promotion to waste collection.

High Peak Mayor David Lomax said: "The open day will reveal the A to Z of what we do to make the High Peak the best place it can be for people who live, work and visit here.
